Job description
We are looking for a Multi-skilled Plumbing and Heating Apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced plumber and heating engineers to gain practical experience and develop the skills required to become a qualified plumber. You will assist with various plumbing and heating tasks, learn about plumbing systems and components, and contribute to the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating fixtures and systems. This role offers valuable hands-on training and an opportunity to advance your career in the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Plumbing and Heating Installations: Collaborate with experienced plumbing and heating engineers to install, assemble, and connect pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances for plumbing and heating systems in residential settings. This includes working on water supply and drainage systems
- Supporting Maintenance and Repair: Aid in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems to ensure their proper functioning. Help identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components
- Learning Plumbing Techniques: Observe and learn from experienced plumbeing and heating engineers about various plumbing and heating techniques, tools, and equipment. Develop proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing and heating machinery
- Reading and Interpreting drawings: Learn to read and understand plumbing and heating drawings, and specifications. Follow instructions and work according to building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines
- Ensuring Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Comply with plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure quality workmanship
We are looking for someone who:

- Drivers licence preferred but not required
We are a fun young group of lads keen for an extra pair of hands on our team.
You will be expected to attend college 1xday a week and work on site 4xday a week. Hours are usually 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday but these may vary.
Your college course (Plumbing, Heating and ACS Gas) will be 4 years in duration, upon completing the 4th year you will be ACS gas qualified.
Sites vary but we are currently based on site in Gaydon, Warwick.
