LWC Drinks are the largest independent and fastest growing drinks wholesaler in the country. They operate out of 15 depots nationwide, stocking 6,500 products, including draught beers, wines, spirts and soft drinks. This role incorporates study and completion of level 3 in Business Administration whilst working in a LWC Drinks Depot. The role involves working as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office, undertaking basic administration work as well as customer service duties.
Main duties include:
- Carrying out a range of both general office work and more specific administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the office.
- To be heavily involved in answering the phones with in 3 rings to support the rest of the office.
- To serve customers collecting stock which involves cash handling and use of World Pay & PDQ machine.
- To provide a range of clerical duties including, filing, inputting invoices on the system, message taking and sorting
- To respond to routine correspondence and enquiries from members of the public, suppliers, and other staff.
- To help the admin/cashier check drivers in when returning from delivering (this also involves cash handling)
- To deal with all customer contact effectively, and courteously, in line with LWC Drink’s policies and procedures.
- To maintain manual and computerised systems including inputting data, keeping records, statistics, confidential and general filing systems.
- Providing an excellent support function to internal colleagues
- To study towards and complete the level 3 Business Administration qualification.
You will be competing a level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Working hours – Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
40 hours per week (weekend working required on a rota basis)
