Job description
Winn Group are recruiting for an apprentice to provide administration and litigation support to the fee earners within the Part 7 Personal Injury Department in addition to the completion of apprenticeship. Ensuring primarily the best possible outcome for the fee earners, client, and secondary for Winn Solicitors Limited is achieved on every case.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of tasks outlined in apprenticeship;
- Accurate recording of evidence and or data received from clients and other parties within Proclaim;
- Accurate drafting of legal documents;
- Undertaking research and valuation of claims in line with judicial guidelines;Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation;
- Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with SRA regulations;
- Always follow the Department procedures and processes along with Company policies ;
- Maximise income per case according to the relevant costs regime;
- Ensure disbursements incurred are appropriate for the progression of a case;
- Maximise the recovery of other Winn Group costs, without compromising the best outcome for the client;
- Assist other team members in achieving their Key Responsibilities; and
- Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management;
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.

- Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it

- Adherence to timeframes outlined in apprenticeship
- Completion of the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
- Group settlement targets
- Minimising write offs
- Case Duration
- Customer complaints
- No instances of policy and procedure breaches
- Appropriate requirement for supervision
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional and appropriate manner
- Ability to resolve client concerns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment
- Cooperative and flexible approach
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution -focused approach
