Our Digital and ICT Services team provide support for the complete project management life cycle - from project feasibility study, to going live and post implementation review. Working alongside other project managers and business analysts you will be responsible for undertaking analysis of requirements, production of project initiation documents, project plan and progress reports.
We are looking for a someone with a strong customer focus, who has excellent interpersonal skills, a keen interest in improving service outcomes who enjoys working as part of a team. You will also have an interest in developing technical skillset and experience of using Windows 10 and Office365 is key for this role.
Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship
Alongside your job role you will undertake the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship. Your learning will be a combination of; classroom-based sessions, one to one support with a workplace coach and on the job learning and will last for approximately 2 years. At the end of the programme you will complete an end point assessment and when this is successfully completed you will gain your Associate Project Manager Level 4 qualification.
You will undertake your qualification alongside providing support and developing practical project management skills in the ICT Project Management Team. Working in partnership with the Council and the training provider you will learn and demonstrate the skills and behaviours required to successfully meet the apprenticeship standard.
You will collect a folder of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and skills over the 24 months.
Whilst studying for your apprenticeship you will be supported by a workplace coach and at the end of your apprenticeship, we will work with you to see if we can identify and secure a permanent position for you in Bracknell Forest council.
