Come and join us as an apprentice Data Scientist, driving value from our data is key to us delivering services and to improving our performance. This role will give you the opportunity to learn skills and deliver data products using leading business intelligence and advanced analytics technologies including Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R and SQL. You'll be encouraged and supported to develop important skills for a Data Scientist such as connecting to different data sources and manipulating different data types into useful formats, analysing and visualising data, utilising machine learning and artificial intelligence and statistical methods to create insight from data.

During this 42 month apprenticeship, you'll work with business teams to identify requirements and understand where analytic insight can add value.
Successful apprentices will achieve Data Scientist (integrated degree) level 6 which is endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships. More details can be found here: Data Scientist (Intergrated Degree) (Level 6)
During your apprenticeship you'll learn/gain:
- a technical understanding and knowledge of key infrastructure and analytics tools
- to develop analytical models and visualisations based on functional designs and user requirements to support strategic and operational decision making
- to identify and deliver opportunities for automation
- how to manage data quality to ensure reliable outputs and
- to implement data models, data quality business rules and front-end user experience
You'll need 5 GCSEs or equivalent, grades A-C or grades 9-4, which must include Maths, English and a Science or Technology subject, 3 A Levels, including 1 STEM subject: a level 3 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications. Other relevant or prior experience may also be considered.
You'll have a dedicated mentor and manager who'll be on hand to support you every step of the way. All that we ask from you is that you're willing to learn, know how to work as part of a team and can manage your time and workload to get things done.
