The Role
Working within the Infrastructure, Access and Business Development team you will be assisting with data lead decision making; analyzing core system data to support the wider department in achieving the departments overarching goals. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving problems using data analytics. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a BSc in Data Science.
The Main Responsibilities
Year 1
Provide data analytics and evidence to support the teams’ key objectives
Create and maintain reporting for the department (PowerBI)
Data Quality - Execute data analytics to ensure the completeness, quality, and consistency of data used for analytics across the team.
Year 2
Critically analyze, interpret and evaluate complex information from diverse datasets to help the team make strategic decisions
Work with structured and unstructured data; sourcing raw complex data and making it available and useable to non-technical staff
Year 3
Evaluate how advanced and predictive analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, simulations, optimization, and automation could assist the department.
Plan, organize and successfully run a small Data Science project to achieve organizational goals and enable effective change.
What We Look For in a Candidate
To be 18 years old or over
GCSE English & Math at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualifications)
3 A Levels, including 1 STEM subject, a Level 3 Apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications.
Other relevant or prior experience may also be considered.
