Apprentice Carpenter
Job description
We are excited to be advertising for a new apprentice carpenter to join our team here at DP Goodwin Group. Due to continued growth we are able to support the right candidate with an apprenticeship in all aspects of carpentry. School leavers to Adult learners will be considered.
We will support you throughout your apprenticeship working alongside fully skilled time served carpenters within a friendly family run business.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday, 7.30-4.30 with single day release to college during term time.
You will need some basic hand tools which we will provide along with the necessary PPE.
Attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn and advance is essential.

If you are not enrolled on a course at the moment please also provide details of your GCSE grades/predicted grades. You will require a level 4 or above in Maths or English to apply for this position.
Works will include:
- Kitchen Installations
- Bathroom Installations
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry in line with business requirements
- General building tasks supporting the Carpenter in charge
We are currently working on projects across East Sussex and looking forward to bringing in our new Team Member to learn lifelong skills with us.

Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
