We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic people to join our Engineering Team in Manchester. Here you will learn from the industry’s best working on everything from office blocks to nuclear power stations, hospitals to universities, manufacturing facilities to the rail network. No two projects are ever the same.

As an NG Bailey apprentice you will:

You will learn to:
  • Understand the role and purpose of BIM (Building Information Modelling) & CAD (Computer Aided Design) in the construction industry
  • Use the latest 3D modelling techniques to create virtual services systems
  • Understand how BIM is implemented throughout a project lifecycle
  • Create detailed drawings in a live model
  • Work closely with and build working relationships with a range of engineers in the business
  • Coordinate a wide range of building systems and plant to pre-set detailed standards and spatial constraints
  • Use a variety of high end and specialist software packages

You will attend college to complete the Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician apprenticeship and regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme.

Grade C/4 or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English Language, Maths and a science based subject, plus 2 other subjects at grade C/4 or above.
