What You Can Expect
Your salary will be between £14,700 and £18,900 depending on your experience and current stage of AAT qualification.
You’ll get 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and an additional day off for your birthday even if it falls on the weekend.
We also offer a holiday bonus program so you will gain an additional day's holiday for each year spent at MAP for up to 5 years.
We always close from Christmas Eve to New Year and as a bonus, you won’t need to use any annual leave entitlement for this period, so everyone can fully recharge and enjoy the festivities with friends and family.
There is some flexibility as to when you work AND, because all our clients are fully cloud based, we offer hybrid working where up to 60% of your working month can be spent working remotely.
You will have 20% of your working week dedicated to your studies, 10% of which will be spent physically at The Apprentice Academy in Manchester, who we partner with to provide the AAT training to all our apprentices and the other 10% will provide you time to work on revision for any upcoming exams and to complete any administrative tasks set by the academy or required for your apprenticeship.

What You Will Mainly Be Responsible For
In this client facing role, you will be involved in a variety of duties to help support the finance function of our clients. The work means you will gain a much broader deeper understanding of how to support modern businesses.
Typical Daily Activities Include:
Weekly bookkeeping for clients
Prepare 2 degree reports (Quarterly snap shot of clients finances and key points to note)
Provide credit control for clients
Raising sales invoices for clients
Paying staff salaries for clients
Making supplier payments for clients
Prepare cost reviews for clients
Prepare MAP service reviews for our clients each quarter
Preparation of VAT returns
This Exciting Opportunity Will Suit You If:
You are have already embarked on an AAT apprenticeship (L2,L3 or L4)
You have a minimum of 6 months experience of working in bookkeeping profession
You have experience of working on Xero and Dext
Have a positive ‘can do’ mindset.
Are curious and eager to continually learn and develop new skills.
You are excited at the prospect of building relationships and being able to communicate daily with clients so that you have a deep understanding of them and their business to create the best working partnership
Are able to multitask with self organisational skills and a great attention to detail
