Brief overview of the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our highly skilled team. You will join our dynamic Apprenticeship Scheme within Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil. You will work alongside qualified and experienced Honeywell Engineers to develop your Project Management skills whilst undertaking part time academic studies.

- Salary: Competitive start with yearly increase system

- Apprenticeship level: Project/Programme Manager Degree Level Apprenticeship (Level 6)
Vacancy description
Our Project manager apprentice will train towards a degree in Programme management within our Engineering department and will work in all departments as part of this apprenticeship, such as Design, Research and Development, Stress Analysis,
Performance Analysis/ Programme Management and Project or Systems Engineering.
They will focus on all aspects related to the full lifecycle of systems and products. The training on this route will be mainly work based with remote learning via Weston College 1 day a week over this 5-year apprenticeship.

- Strong and confident communicator
- Highly computer literate
- An understanding of Aerospace Engineering processes and practices

- Confident with effective communication skills
- Well organised
- Work accurately with excellent attention to detail under minimum supervision
- Ability to complete work, follow up and appropriate reporting on responsibilities
- Good co-ordination, motor skills, and dexterity
- Passion to learn and grow in the industrial field selected
- The ability to effectively work as part of a team and on your own
Desired qualifications
An apprentice will be expected to have already achieved academic qualifications of:
- A-Level standard or equivalent - Including two STEM based subject such as maths, Physics, ICT, Computing, Electronics or a Level 3 Engineering related qualification.
- 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) - Including maths, English and Double Science.
