We are recruiting for various Apprentice Accident Repair Technicians - Level 3. See below for the individual job roles.
Multi-Skilled Apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to work in a modern Bodyshop-type environment, working on a broad range of vehicles to develop a level of skill in all craft aspects of vehicle accident repair, including Mechanical, Electrical & Trim; Panel Repair & Replacement; Preparation and Paint.
A Vehicle Damage Panel Technician works within the collision repair workshop, demonstrating expert working knowledge in relation to the removal, repair and replacement of vehicle body panels to vehicle manufacturer specification. Technicians will use their skills to correctly identify the different body panel types and have the ability to use the correct repair tools to carry out the work to the highest possible standard.
A Vehicle Damage Paint Technician works in the vehicle body repair sector of the motor industry. The role is to prepare, spray and finish vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents, in an efficient manner. This includes ensuring correct colour match and final finish to the company and customer's exacting standards. They are responsible for the finishing of whole panels, panel sections, wheels, or even a car's entire bodywork.
A Vehicle Damage MET Technician works in the vehicle body repair sector of the motor industry. The role is to identify damaged mechanical and electrical components on a damaged car/light commercial vehicle, and remove and refit these components before and after body repair work has been carried out. A MET Technician will also ensure everything is in full and safe working order once the repair is complete. They typically work on repairing vehicles that have been involved in accidents or similar incidents.
