Psychological therapies are primarily offered face to face at the outpatient base with options for Near Me (NHS video link) and home working. The service supports patients with a wide range of eating disorder presentations and offers interventions from guided self-help to high intensity psychological therapy for those with complex needs. The post-holders’ primary focus will be to provide assessment of new referrals and individual formal psychological therapies. There is flexibility to adapt the job plan depending upon prior areas of experience or interest in developing skills in specific therapy models. A specific interest in and experience with the specialty will be most welcome but we are also able to support adaptation to the needs of this patient group via training and supervision. We will adapt the post-holder(s) Job and Continuing Professional Development Plan to fit individuals with different core trainings. We will also consider requests for part time hours and/or flexible working patterns. For further information about the Service or for an informal discussion please contact: [email protected]
