Job description
We are looking for a Band 4 Applications Support Analyst to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset. This role is a Band 4 with progression to a Band 5 once competencies have been met.
We need a friendly, calm, flexible and reliable team player to join the busy IT Applications Support Team, serving UHD comprising of Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Hospital Sites.
The successful applicant will carry out first/second line support and systems administration tasks on all the main hospital systems in the Trusts and assist with User Acceptance Testing and implementation for upgrades to supported Applications.
Applicants should have detailed user or administrator knowledge of at least one bespoke, multi-modular IT administration system.
Ideally this would be using a UK main hospital system (e.g CaMIS Outpatients/Waiting List (eOPS/eWLM)/eCaMIS Theatres/Symphony or equivalent), but this is not essential as full training will be given.

- Must have excellent PC/troubleshooting skills and be able to learn all user and administrator aspects of existing and new IT applications as required.
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills are essential as a high degree of communications with colleagues, users and external suppliers is required.
