The successful candidate will be given appropriate training, mentoring and support to build their role specific skills/capability, following a define development plan. Once assessed as being competent in the role the post holder will be promoted to Grade B2 – we anticipate this will be in the region of 6 months after starting in the role, but this will be governed by the successful candidate’s development.
This role sits in Production Engineering and Data Governance Group, within Operations Division. The team supports CARIS COTS, which is at the core of the UKHOs production system. The team work flexibly but there will be times where onsite in Taunton is required to ensure effective collaboration across teams, system upgrades and resolution of incidents.
(Note - Support of Live systems may very occasionally include weekend and out of hours working)
