Grade 5 - Learning Support Assistants Required

32.5 or 37 hours per week available

Term time only (39 weeks includes five days training)

We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work with pupils across the school. It is also an ideal position for someone wishing to work in a school to gain additional experience before following a career in teaching, educational psychology or speech and language therapy.

Salary range: Grade 5 £21,192.00 to £21,579.00 (based on experience and expertise/hours worked per week)

32.5 hours per week (Actual starting pay £15,931.71)

or 37 hours per week (Actual starting pay £18,137.64)

  • Support from:
    Specialised Engagement teams to develop skills to support pupils
    External professionals to develop an understanding of learning and meeting the needs of pupils (working with Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Therapeutic services)
    Committed teams of staff at all levels across the school who understand the needs of pupils
