Testing & Application Support Analyst


Our Software Solutions Team is dedicated to supporting and helping Integral accelerate delivery of the business strategy and changes, whilst maintaining standards in our operating procedures and ways of working.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Integral Software Solutions Team which will deliver and maintain various Software applications and packages. You will play a key role in the link between business operations and Software, using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to ensure outcomes are achieved.

Joining the CAFM Support Team based in West Bromwich, you will play an essential role in providing support for the usage and performance of business applications. This will be a dual-skilled role being involved throughout the entire lifecycle of CAFM Software, focusing on Software testing for all defects, enhancements, changes and projects being rolled out across Integral to align with the business strategy and operations, and reactive support actions including dealing with tickets for application support to ensure that incidents are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with agreed SLAs.

This role is perfect for an analyst with previous experience in the Facilities Management (FM) industry and CAFM Software lifecycle. You should also have an interest in Data interpretation and problem solving along with enjoying a varied role in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing requirements, scope of testing and documents to define and develop accurate test cases and scripts for manual testing;
  • Gathering, understanding and creation of test data to support end to end process testing;
  • System integration Testing;
  • To prepare, plan and execute manual tests in system test phases;
  • Functional End-to-End testing across multiple packages and applications;
  • Provide input into Performance reporting to our roadmap deadlines;
  • Design and write new tests based on functional requirements for complex technical and business solutions;
  • Management & creation of Tickets for defects and requirements;
  • Administration tasks related to Software;
  • Assisting the CAFM Support Team in problem solving;
  • Assisting and resolving Support Tickets assigned to the CAFM Support Team; and
  • Providing assistance to the CAFM Support Manager as and when required.

Essential Skills + Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail is essential
  • Experience of Software applications
  • Experience with Maximo, Cognito, Sapphire SUN experience preferred
  • Facilities Management (FM) industry experience
  • Understanding the CAFM and Software Lifecycle
  • Excellent written and oral skills in order to produce clear and concise test plans and release documentation
  • Excellence Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work professionally, alone, and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to interpret data in different formats (word, excel, handwritten etc.)
  • Good Communication Skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and peers

Core Hours: Monday - Friday

Flexible working hours between 8:00am - 17:00pm
