Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Freelance Shopify App Developer to assist us in creating cutting-edge apps that will be listed on the Shopify App Store.
As a Shopify App Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing Shopify applications to meet our requirements. The successful candidate must possess a strong background in PHP and Laravel, coupled with a deep understanding of relational databases. In addition, hands-on experience working with the Shopify API, both REST and GraphQL, is essential.
Proficiency in React and prior utilisation of Shopify App Bridge and Shopify App CLI will also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our team to comprehend client needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications for Shopify app development.
- Develop Shopify apps with a focus on creating high-quality and user-friendly experiences for the Shopify App Store.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality and versatility of our apps.
- Ensure optimal app performance, scalability, and security through diligent testing and debugging procedures.
- Keep on top of changes and updates in the Shopify ecosystem, ensuring adherence to platform guidelines.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and extensive experience working with the Laravel framework.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases, with the ability to design efficient and robust database schemas.
- Extensive experience working with Shopify APIs, including REST and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in React.js with knowledge of Shopify polaris components
- Prior experience using Shopify App Bridge and Shopify App CLI..
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
