Application Support Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Application Support Analyst you will be joining Group Technology Service Management team within Risk, Finance, technology area. In your new role you will be instrumental in implementing and managing the service quality provided to the Risk stake holders and takes end to end responsibility of service operations. The end to end assistance you will provide includes ensuring Application management, Vendor management, KPI monitoring and reporting, service availability and the platform stability.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. • You will be accountable for Production stability, Service availability and Governance
- Building and maintaining solid relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders
- Engaging with Business Operations and development to ensure value driven delivery with agility and stability balance
- Accountable for day-to-day operations partnering with the vendor Service Delivery leads
- Defining and executing service improvement plans including RTB projects
- You will be leading Service Reporting/Reviews and Application Management, engagement with Global RFT RTB leadership to review KPIs and SLAs
- Leading Incident and Problem Management through to resolution
- Ensuring and promoting ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, Release management
• Solid experience in production support
- High energy, hands-on and results & goal-oriented
- Well organized with excellent time management, able to work in a pressurised environment
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principal and practices in financial institutions
• Solid knowledge on cloud and DevOps principles are desired
- Solid experience with ITIL concepts and best practices
- Exposure to Unix, database technologies primarily in Investment Banking domain
- Experience with primarily Run The Bank roles in financial institutions
