We are looking for an Application Engineer to support our customers in the UK and Ireland regarding our CAD/CAM softwares Edgecam, NCSIMUL and Designer.
As a member of the Support & Services team you will deliver quality customer training, consultancy, and technical support. You will deliver product training and consultancy to customers at our office, at the customer location or remotely, and supply technical support via our helpdesk environment and our Customer Support Portal. The role requires frequent travelling.
This could be a great opportunity for a well-versed CAD/CAM engineer, interested in broadening his/her skillset within a global company, and working in close contact with customers, both remotely and face to face.

Tasks in detail:
- Delivering product training for customers at our office, at customer sites in the UK and Ireland, or remotely.
- Delivering consultancy. Dealing with any issue or request coming from the customer regarding the usage of our softeware/s in their environment.
- Software installations and configurations. Taking care of software installation for new customers, or upgrades to the latest software version for existing customers.
- Dealing with any technical query or incident coming from customers regarding our software/s.
- Creating product training material / documentation.
- HNC or HND level qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline
- 2 - 3 years of experience working with CAD/CAM in a metal cutting production environment
- 2 - 3 years of experience in CNC part programming
- Computer literacy with strong IT skills
- Availability to visit customers across the UK and Ireland.
- Driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
