Application Development Scientist
As an Application Development Scientist you will be an integral part of the application development’s team and you will help shape their liquid handling products. You will be responsible for developing applications and test product performance. It is an exciting role for an individual with keen interest in automated liquid handlers. You will be afforded the opportunity to work independently and alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Application Development Scientist Responsibilities
· Testing existing applications using automated liquid handlers
· Independently designing and executing experiments to test product performance
· Characterising and optimising the performance of automated liquid handlers
Application Development Scientist Requirements
· Bachelor or higher degree in a biological science or relevant discipline
· Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
· Experience with NGS library preparation methods
· Solid biological knowledge with the ability to understand the applications for which automated liquid handling handlers are used
· Previous experience working with liquid handling automation is advantageous but not essential.
· Previous experience of running absorbance and fluorescence assays is desirable

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
