Then this is the job for you!
We are looking for another animal care/experience assistant to join our team, this will involve carrying out welfare checks, whilst also assisting with farm maintenance. This role may also involve leading experiences (usually during school holidays).
Full training will be provided for both experiences and maintenance aspects of the role.
Please note there may be some weeks where you will be working on your own due to holiday cover, we shall assess when you are ready to work independently.
This role is predominantly for either a Tuesday/Wednesday eachweek, we may also have some Sunday shifts available once trained (as and when cover is needed).
£11.50 an hour with a minimum of 8 hours a week, although we may ask you to pick up more hours if required (8-16hrs)
The ideal helper would be:
- Over 18 years of age
- Comfortable handling large animals
- Have experience working on a yard/similar setting to a farm
- Due to the nature of the job require individuals who are physically fit, as you will be asked to lift heavy items.
- Enthusiastic about animals
- Happy to converse with all age groups
- Professional and presentable
- Be able to drive/get to the farm
IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED (Next Wednesday onwards)
