Job description
Do you have a passion for animals, and want to make a difference to many animals lives?
We are on the hunt for reliable, committed and experienced volunteers to help out at our animals sanctuary weekday times from 9am-12pm.
We are a non for profit animal sanctuary, that primarily looks after cats, but also have horses and a handsome pot bellied pig in our care.
Here at Fur and Feathers, we never put a healthy animal down and give all cats a fighting chance for happiness.
We have many types of cats under our care, so must be confident when dealing with more complex cats.
This role entails feeding the cats, emptying and cleaning litter trays, general tidying of the pens including sweeping and mopping the pens. It also includes feeding the horses and Porky and picking the muck up from the field.
Although a voluntary position, it is incredibly rewarding.
But as above, we are looking for someone who can commit to any weekday mornings with a passion for animals. Experience is preferred, however all training will be provided. This would suit those looking for a placement within animal care.
To apply please email with a brief introduction to yourself, and availability including availability for a trial day with myself!
Please note that due to our insurance, we are only able to have those aged 18 and over volunteer with us.
