We are looking for a full time and part time Animal Care and Welfare Assistant to assist in the routine day to day husbandry and care of domestic rodents.
The work is carried out individually and/ or as part of a team.
Animal Care and Welfare Assistants must have a strong work ethic.
They must maintain safe working practices and taking responsibility for themselves, animals and others.
- How to handle animals safely
- Feeding and cleaning
- Looking after injured or sick animals
- Maintaining animal enclosures
- Identifying hazards
- Packing and dispatching orders

· Must be physically fit as the work can be demanding
· Being able to work both individually and as part of a team
· Must show and be able to use initiative
· Maintaining a constant high standard of work
· Following instructions fully and efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-35 per week
Salary: £8.00-£12.00 per hour
