Android Engineer Hampshire
Job description
Introduction
Our client is a world-class engineering consultancy. They are looking for an Application Developer with Android Internals experience (or even just a personal interest with deep knowledge!) to develop bespoke applications for external clients and customers.
You will work across the full lifecycle, from capturing the requirements from the client, designing, and developing the product, then delivering it back to the client.
This is a hybrid working role and you will be required on-site in Hampshire up to 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities
- Gather detailed technical requirements from clients.
- Design and develop Android applications that meet the client’s bespoke needs.
- Use of Geographic information Systems tools and implementation within the development lifecycle.
- Develop applications using various software languages.
Skills & experience
- Good experience of development with languages such as C++, Java or Kotlin.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills for gather detailed requirements.
- Development experience with Android applications is highly beneficial.
- Experience with GIS tools in development.
- Experience working with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
