We are currently seeking an Android Developer to join our mobile team. This exciting role is responsible for designing, building and maintaining software applications for the Android mobile operating system.
The successful candidate will;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop and ship advanced, bespoke Android applications
- Work with outside/ remote data sources and API specifications
- Write automated unit and UI tests
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Review code written by others in the development team
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
- Keep up to date with changes in mobile technology, Android releases, new and existing third-party libraries and share knowledge with the wider team
If you are interested in applying for this role you will require in-depth knowledge of the Android operating system. You will also have experience of Kotlin, Java, dependency injection, and reactive programming with RxJava or Flow. Experience of Jetpack Compose, Firebase datastore, Room, Git & PR workflows, CI/CD, Jira and JSON is ideal but not essential.

- This position is available for UK based remote working as well as office or hybrid working for those based around Nottingham
