Analytics Engineer Intern (1 Year Internship)
Salary: £19500 - £22000
**This is a home-based role in the Greater London/Strasbourg area, with weekly onsite meetings and up to 20% travel to customer sites.
Do you want to work in a role where you will be part of a small, entrepreneurial, mission-driven team? We are looking for someone who is a “passionate transformer” to work closely with our customers, including both Hospital and Retail pharmacies, to create a value-driven descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solution. This is a particularly exciting role as it forms part of Omnicell’s strategy to become the most trusted customer partner by improving analytics and workflow orchestration for Hospital Supply and Medicine, to transform patient safety.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager of Data and Analytics, you will be studying computer or data science and be interested in data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the customer and internal Omnicell departments to define both the customers’ and Omnicell’s requirements (i.e. user stories)
- Identify new potential data sources and develop strategies for collecting, cleaning, and preparing the data for exploration using Python.
- Update/maintain software development, collaboration and code management software from the Atlassian Suite of products (e.g. Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket)
- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and present to stakeholders when necessary
- Create and support reporting insights & dashboards delivered to the customer using a data story-telling platform called Toucan Toco™·
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently studying or has completed a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
