Job description
PG Assist require an Analytical Chemist to join our current team within the Analytical department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our forward thinking and dynamic organisation in a laboratory based role. PG Assist is a specialist managed service provider and we provide support services for a large, highly respected blue chip company (Procter & Gamble), who create branded goods and services across the entire Globe.
The role holder will perform routine laboratory procedures right first time with minimum personal OOS results ensuring all work carried out complies with departmental procedures and is GMP compliant. To ensure the overall quality and compliance of the work performed meets the expected level of service and that all data generated is accurate and on time.
Suitable candidates should possess good, strong science aptitude with a Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related science subject, excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail. You should also have good computer literacy.
Experience in using complex analytical techniques (PH, Viscosity, Appearance, Titrations, HPLC, GC) is essential.
All work performed must conform to site and Lab Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and comply with GMP and GLP principles.
