We’ve delivered more projects than anyone else – over 1,500 – and have thousands more in the pipeline. We manage the assets too.
Our EV charging business is growing, and we are looking to find a brilliant, team-focused Technical Analyst with a passion for the low carbon sector to join us and help develop our award-winning EV charging site assessment and asset management software evlab®, as well as contribute to the development of Syzygy modelling tools.
Your role will sit acrossthe Project Management and Asset Management team. You will have strong quantitative abilities, be detailed orientated, organised, and will demonstrate the ability to track and manage multiple workstreams both internally and externally with clients.
You are likely to be in one of the following roles or have experience in the below:
· Renewables / EV charging developer
· Energy modelling, GIS or data analysis
· Software development company
· Consulting business

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Some of your responsibilities will include:
· Leading the development of our evlab® platform, with oversight from a senior member of the team. You will work with developers to maintain and develop our evlab® software, write specifications for the software, implement them with the developers, test the features, and ensure smooth integration in the platform
· Conducting market research and finding new data streams to develop our algorithm and expand our evlab® scope to new markets.
· Developing an automated reporting dashboard for EV charging asset management.
· Participating in internal R&D projects, such as projects to develop our existing financial and technical modelling suite, develop our modelling capabilities for European markets, or researching new market opportunities.
· Analysing complex sets of data to produce both internal and external market analysis and feed into leadership thought pieces.
· Participating in development team activities from time to time, such as completing feasibilities studies or enabling work.
REPORTING
The Technical Analyst will report to a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director within our Project Management team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications & Experience
· Essential:
o Must be degree educated, in an appropriate field
o 2-3 years experience in a relevant industry
o Fluent written and spoken English
o Full driving licence
o Right to work within the UK
o Genuine interest in the energy transition and combating climate change
o Strong MS Excel skills
o Good working knowledge of the rest of MS Office suite (including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
· Desirable:
o Holds or is working towards a relevant professional membership (Association for Project Management, RICS, CIOB etc)
o Ability to speak a European language
o Previous Experience in a consultancy business or a technology company
o Experience in data analytics / visualisation tools such as Power BI
o Experience in GIS software
o Experience of modelling using Excel, Matlab, or another coding language (SQL, C, C#, C++)
o Previous experience in Solar PV and EV charging
