We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Analyst GBM Business Finance
Role Purpose
Analyst GBM Business Finance to support Global Payment Solutions product. Provides financial analysis to drive business performance and support management decision-making.
Works with senior management and financial partners Globally to provide financial and technical analysis and recommendations regarding current and/or proposed products, business channels, business opportunities, and/or internal measurements and methodologies.
Leads all reporting requirements, planning and forecasting activities and a key point of contact for ad-hoc requests.
Key responsibilities: -
- Be a trusted partner with the Global Payment Solutions product business across three Global Business Lines and provide commercial and value add analytics and advices for sound decision making
- Manage and develop technical financial analysis and modelling to support business result tracking and decision-making. Provide performance review and benchmarking analysis of the supported business
- Partner with Sr. Management to identify and evaluate opportunities and risks.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and prepare metrics on assigned business area to include product pricing, business lines, channels, customers, new business opportunities, forecasts, incentives, budgets, external forces and trends and/or cost-benefit analysis.
- Support the development and review of business unit business plan and presentations
- Creates operating plans and financial forecasts for business channel.
- Supports GPS Senior Management along with the three Global Business Lines
- An active member of the Global Business Line’s Business Finance and GPS management team.
- Respond to requests and inquiries from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing to prepare analysis and metrics. Provide regular analysis and reports as well as analysis to support specific inquiries.
Minimum criteria
- Well-developed finance business partnering skills preferred
- Strong management, interpersonal, analytical, project management, presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercial minded.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical and financial modelling skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, TM1, Tableau and QlikSense a plus.
