OSB Group has completed 22 securitisations since 2013 across OneSavings Bank (OSB) and Charter Court Financial Services (CCFS) and the Capital Markets team you will be joining is responsible for the issuance and ongoing management of these secured wholesale funding programmes. As an Analyst within the Capital Markets team, you will report into the Head of Transaction Delivery (Capital Markets). You will join the team in Wolverhampton and use your excellent analytical skills and VBA experience to assist in the completion of the Group’s securitisation transactions. You will also prepare robust data and reports for both internal and external stakeholders and develop new tools and processes with appropriate controls. What you will be doing:
As an Analyst, you will be involved in the development of new tools and processes with appropriate controls and provide in depth analytical support and insight to the broader Capital Markets function.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Support on the day to day analytical work to support the delivery of the Group’s securitisation (RMBS) transactions, escalating any issues as appropriate.
- Provide high level analytical support to the Capital Markets team, providing concise commentary regarding the findings and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Use best practices to improve processes, and be able to adapt to ad hoc tasks leveraging prior experience and knowledge to develop a solution for them.
- Lead and support the production of automated tools to assist the Capital Markets team in the production of data and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the Head of Transaction Delivery (Capital Markets) in the management of loan collateral pools with both the BOE and other secured funding facilities and provide detailed analysis and recommendation as appropriate.
- Support the wider Capital Markets function in the preparation/development of capital forecasting scenarios and third party residential mortgage backed securities (RMBS) investment appraisal information/ tools.
- Manage the outputs across the team's regulatory and investor reporting ensuring consistency and accuracy.

We are looking for talented individuals who ideally have the experience and knowledge set out below:
- Previous experience working as an analyst ideally within financial services
- A good knowledge of capital markets, structured finance or securitisation
- Knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending and markets, as well as a good understanding of Risk Modelling processes
- Advanced Excel and intermediate modelling skills (SQL, R, VBA)
- A good understanding of risk modelling processes
