What you’ll do
- Provide friendly and welcoming first-line tech support face-to-face, on the phone and over chat, maintaining brilliant customer service and diagnostic flair, whilst troubleshooting technology issues, providing swift and robust resolutions, and interface seamlessly with second-line support teams.
- Interact competently and confidently with a wide range of workplace technology products, primarily Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, audio visual solutions, video conferencing and follow-me secure print. You will also be able to support Microsoft Office 365 products and services (including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure AD, Office Applications etc.), Android, Cisco networks, Cisco WebEx, unified comms, SharePoint and many more.
- Organise and administer customer appointments, incidents, requests, and tasks using Sky’s ServiceNow IT Service Management tool.
- Support the tech onboarding process for new starters and assist existing Sky people with setting up new devices, configuring accounts and software, and provide training and guidance on how to get the best out of the tech tools available to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Option to Travel and support other Sky sites
What you’ll bring
- Be experienced, skilled, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic in supporting Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, audio visual solutions, video conferencing and follow-me secure print in an enterprise environment. In addition, be able to support or quickly learn about the other products and services used at Sky
- Experience working in a high-pressured customer-facing tech support role, have strong people skills, excellent verbal, and written communications skills, and be very well presented.
- A flair for problem solving and diagnosing technology issues on the spot, whilst staying calm and composed in a customer facing scenario.
- Be highly organised, methodical, with excellent prioritisation, decision-making and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative, and as part of a collaborative team.
- A can-do attitude, an eagerness and aptitude for learning and acquiring new skills and knowledge and always willing to go the extra mile to provide the best technology experience to our users.
