POSITION LOCATION / WORK ARRANGEMENT:
This position is located in Ottawa. However, the successful candidate may report to the Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver office for in-office work.
Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position requires physical presence (in-office work) from one of the following OSFI offices across Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver). The option of teleworking is available on a part-time basis in accordance with OSFI’s Guidelines on Telework. Teleworking arrangements are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the work required by the position, the operational and business needs, as well as the candidate’s work preferences.

Duties
Reporting to the Manager, Technology Strategy, Risk and Performance, the Junior Analyst responsibilities will include supporting the IM/IT risk management activities, service management function, liaising with governance bodies, participating on project teams, assisting management in the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of budget information. This role will also support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the IM/IT strategy and roadmap, as appropriate and will require coordination and engagement with IM/IT key stakeholders (including management) and the business.

Compensation: OSFI offers a competitive salary, and employees may be eligible for in-range increases and economic adjustments. Salaries are based on qualifications, experience and knowledge. The Public Service Pension Plan is a defined benefit pension plan (indexed for inflation), where both the employer and the employee contribute.

- A degree from a post-secondary institution with specialization in computer science, engineering, business, commerce, economics, finance, mathematics, accounting or other relevant field OR an acceptable combination of relevant professional industry experience and education.
Degree equivalency
- Experience in supporting, developing and/or maintaining risk registers/risk profiles of IM/IT programs, services, and projects.
- Experience working with or supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, processes, or other project management tools.
- Experience coordinating meetings, governance body activities or assisting management with reporting against organizational objectives and plans.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
- ITIL Foundation certification or training in IT Service Management.
- Project management certification or training.
Degree equivalency
- Experience in identifying evolving risks from internal and/or external developments and/or technology trends.
- Experience maintaining documentation within an electronic documentation system or an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
- Experience supporting a Project Management Office (PMO).
