Under the guidance of Cash Customer Operations (CCO) Operational Issue Management Lead, the issue management analyst supports the Issue Management Program.
- Heading efforts related to issue management activities
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure risk and control requirements are embedded effectively and that synergies. These stakeholders include product, legal, and compliance etc
- Attending regular communications and review meetings to review performance against agreed standards
- Analyzes and identifies risk and performs analytical reporting
- Contribute tactical and strategic initiatives to improve oversight and issue management, processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous development of any systems and/or tools used to support Issue Management activities.
- Plan, schedule and track timelines and milestones towards corrective actions and remediations
- Review incoming escalation cases and assess appropriate prioritization and ownership
- Monitor any emergency cases and coordinate immediate response teams into action
- 5+ years of experience in Issue, Risk, or Control Management
- General understanding of relevant financial services regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Capability to identify and report/escalated issues
- Exceptional analytical skills, with ability to formulate recommendations for solutions based on business, risk, and control objectives
- Great planning skills, can approach projects and tasks in a tactical, as well as strategic manner, applying a logical thought process with attention to detail
- G-Suite & Slack (or similar communication platforms)

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $103,900 - USD $126,900
Zone B: USD $96,600 - USD $118,000
Zone C: USD $88,300 - USD $107,900
Zone D: USD $77,900 - USD $95,300
