Job description
Transport non-emergency patients to and from Hospitals in and around Leicestershire, the patients are either unable to get to and from vital appointments or returning to home following admission to hospital.
The role involves driving and transferring patients with varying needs and mobility requirements, infection control is a must, willingness to work as part of a team and use own initiative. Role involves manual handling so a good level of fitness is required. Career progression through FREC training pathway once probationary period completed.
The main focus of the role is to provide comfortable, timely professional transport whilst delivering the very highest standards of care. This role allows you to make a real difference to our service users.
We are looking for both permanent full and part time people, working a varied work pattern to cover our operational needs. Monday to Friday with Saturday available as overtime at a premium rate on a rota system. Saturday is generally 1 in 4. Must be able to adapt to changing operational needs.
