IPRS Medical Transport Services (IPRS MTS) is a growing organisation supplying general and specialist patient transport services across the Southeast of the UK and also to and from Europe.
IPRS MTS is a sister company to IPRS Aeromed, providing custom solutions for ambulance transport services including high dependency, bariatric and mental health transfers. Our knowledgeable team has the skills and expertise to make your patient’s journey reassuringly stress-free, taking care of all the clinical and logistical elements for you.
We are growing our fleet of ambulances and response vehicles to better meet the increased demand from our clients.
Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team on a CONTRACTOR basis providing high-quality patient care and transport services to our clients across the United Kingdom. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Assisting ambulance clinicians in providing non-emergency patient care and transportation services to a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences.
- Ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of patients to and from medical appointments, procedures, and hospital admissions.
- Administering basic first aid and emergency medical care as required, under the direction of clinical staff.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of patients, equipment, and supplies from the ambulance.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance and equipment for each assignment.
- Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and always maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanour.

Valid UK driving license (with a maximum of 6 points).
- FREC 3 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or patient transport role is desirable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry patients and equipment.
- Ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Hour pay rate: £12.00 per hour (Contracted)
