Alternative fuel chassis technician/ project engineer
FAUN Zoeller has recently launched its first Hydrogen Fuel Cell RCV, into the UK market
Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an alternative fuel chassis technician/ project engineer.
The role will be based in the North West of England & would be perfectly suited to an existing HVG/EV technician looking to progress to a more project/ management role & move away from the tools.
Initially the role will involve ensuring the existing vehicles are kept on the road performing repairs & maintenance, whilst collecting performance data & reporting.
A lot of time will be spent on the customer site advising on maintenance, looking after spare parts & delivering technical training on the chassis, to customers & internal staff when required.
The ideal candidate would have:
Strong communication skills & a resourceful attitude
A sound understanding on HGV/ LGV/ EV chassis & vehicles
Strong electrical background, with a good understanding
Have the ability to be hands on when required & also project manage/ organise.
Must be computer literate & exposure to software & control would be a distinct advantage
A passport & be prepared to travel to Europe for training, with some over nights away in the UK (but this will be minimal)
Full product training will be given, along with continual personnel development
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
