Alternative Education Lead
(Learning and Early Help, Access and Inclusion)
£43,516 pa
You will provide and oversee Elective Home Education and Medical Tuition and its underpinning duty to ensure that children and young people concerned have access to an education that is suitable to their age, aptitude, and any special educational needs and to contribute to good interagency working. You will be part of the Access and Inclusion Team and will carry a caseload of children and families, as well as overseeing and managing the daily work of the Medical Home Tuition Team.
You must be able to communicate effectively with settings, parents, carers and a wide range of professionals and you must be able to manage your own case load and work as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work.
A full current driving license or access to a means of mobility support is essential.
