Alarm & Ops Management Technology Lead is required by Wipro You will be an experienced engineer familiar with industry technologies and best practices across alarm and operations management and process safety. Responsible for the strategy, technology roadmaps, development, and delivery of solutions for the alarm and operations management in process safety area by collaborating with key stakeholders. Select the products and technology and lead the associated deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy for the domain and roadmaps for the supporting technologies along with the business stakeholders, IT, and suppliers.
- Develop the business plans, validate the value of the strategy, and justify approval of funding for the projects to implement the strategy.
- Deployment and integration of technologies to embed new technology and realize the value.
- Develop, lead, and mentor a team of 4-6 people and natural teams of up to 10 people.
- Alarm & Ops Management practitioner familiar with work processes in the alarm management life cycle.
- Provide OT/IT alignment in areas of architecture, governance, security, and software/hardware management by designing and overseeing the development of standard architectures and solutions.
- Experience with Analytics, Cloud Computing, Edge Control, IIOT, Industry 4.0, OT, and IT
- Industry communications & networking (OPC DA, OPC UA, Ethernet, Fieldbus, HART).
- Wireless field networks including protocols like wireless hart, wireless ISA, 4g, 5g).
- Experience with IT integration of software in Distributed Control Systems such as Honeywell Experion, Yokogawa Centum, Emerson Delta V, Siemens PCS 7, ABB, or Foxboro.
- Software Deployment / Installation / Integration in Microsoft Windows Systems.
- Process control fundamentals including design, configuration, infrastructure, and programming of DCS, PLC and SIS.
- Experience with Real-time Data Historian Infrastructure, PHD, IP21, OSI PI, ExaQuantum.
- SCADA experience (Wonderware, Rockwell, Fast Tools, etc.) and how they interface with other Applications.
- Experience in Honeywell Dynamo, Matrikon Alarm Manager, or PAS Plant State Suite products.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Bachelor’s in computer sciences, or Discipline Engineering or equivalent. Business or MBA Degree desirable.
- Highly experience in automation, operational technology, and IT; 3 plus years of experience in Alarm and Operations Management; 3 years plus of experience in the Downstream Manufacturing and/or Upstream Production Business.
- Product Management experience over the full lifecycle of a product.
