The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active team player who is organised, punctual and efficient with exceptional telephone customer service to join our alarm receiving centre team.
The successful candidate will be based in our Alarm Receiving Centre Office in the heart of Leicester and will be receiving alarms and incoming telephone calls from our monitored fire and security systems and customers across the UK.
Our centre runs a 24/7 365 days a year operation and therefore this role involves a shift pattern of 12 hour shifts (7am – 7pm), 4 days on/ 4 days off and would include some bank holiday and Christmas working if your shift were to fall on those days.Occasional night shifts may be required to cover staff absences and will come with additional payments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
·Receiving live alarms through in house systems (full training provided)
·Dealing with incoming telephone calls
·Dispatching engineers or emergency services to sites
·Liaising with key holders/customers
·General administration
Requirements
·SIA CCTV licence would be an advantage but training and licence will be provided if not
·Excellent customer service skills
·Confident telephone manner
·Excellent punctuality is essential
·Ability to liaise with various outside agencies and personnel
·Computer literate
·Ability to multitask
·Ability to prioritise work load
