**NEW INTAKE FOR DHL GATWICK - FROM 25TH APRIL**

Shifts: 2 Days (0600-1800) followed by 2 Nights (1800-0600) on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Pay rate: £11.27 (£16.90 for overtime outside your 4 on rotation)

Aviation Connection are searching for multiple Airside Warehouse Operatives to start from April onwards. For our large and established client based in London Gatwick Airport. A leading global, reputable cargo and parcel distribution company, who require workers to help assist in their busy warehouse as they come into a busy peak at London Gatwick Airport.

Drug and alcohol test is required for this role. After this you will complete an induction (this is paid).

Drug and alcohol test/induction dates are listed below (you must be available for all 3 days):

APRIL

25th (D+A), 26th,27th

Duties of a Airside Warehouse Operative:

  • Working in goods in as well as goods out.
  • Delivering goods to retailers and restaurants using rolling cages, pallet trucks etc.
  • Working in cold areas
  • Rotating stock around the warehouse utilizing moving equipment including manual pump trucks and powered pump trucks.
  • Completion of paperwork and general warehouse duties as required.
  • Maintain general security of warehouse in accordance with Company Security procedures and undertake security screening to meet CAA regulations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and observe safe working practices.
  • Colleagues will be working in goods in as well as goods out
  • Breaking down pallets and working to get the stock to store within the airport.
  • Once been with business will be placed on a screening course (intense 5 days in classroom)


Requirements for a Airside Warehouse Operatives:

  • Produce a clean DBS due to the location of the role
  • Reference-able 5 year employment history
  • Willing to undertake Drug and Alcohol tests as part of the induction
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and mobile environment, with heavy lifting involved.

Benefits:

  • £50 a month bonus after completing Security & Screening Course (NXCT)
  • £10 a month bonus after completing DHL approved FLT Training

  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
