Flight Calibration Services Ltd (FCSL) is a global leader in the delivery of airport navigational aid flight inspection services and supports some of the world's busiest airports including London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports, Dubai International, Kuala Lumpar, Lisbon, Dublin and Copenhagen.
In the UK, FCSL is the sole provider of flight inspection services to over 95% of airports including Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh and our European division, Flight Calibration Services Europe, delivers services across the EU including Portugal, Ireland, Denmark and Malta. FCSL has a truly global reach and operates in over 20 countries around the world including the UAE, the Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Turks & Caicos, Oman and Qatar.
In the delivery of its mission, FCSL has a fleet of 6 specially modified flight inspection aircraft, operated by a dedicated team of around 20 pilots and flight inspectors with over 40,000 flying hours of experience built up over 15 years, and an in-house engineering team ensuring 24/7/365 operations.
The company is headquartered in Brighton City Airport and has permanent operating bases in the UAE and Malaysia.
As part of an ambitious growth strategy we have a limited number of opportunities for new Flight Inspectors. You will be a motivated, ambitious individual, capable of thinking on your feet and operating under pressure. You will be technically minded, have a good grasp of mathematics and enjoy travelling. Our comprehensive training plan will ensure that you are quickly able to take responsibility for providing critical assurance to some of the world's most prestigious airports, operating as a 3-person team with the aircraft's Captain and First Officer. You will be responsible for operating the aircraft's Flight Inspection equipment and generating the inspection reports once the flight has completed. While deployed on flight inspection duties you will receive daily allowances in addition to your salary and on return to the UK you will be supported with a generous policy for time off in lieu of any weekends worked.
Starting salary as a trainee £25,000 (plus benefits and allowances), with the opportunity to progress quickly to £40,000+.
