Here’s what we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will act as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Kanban practitioner, and Delivery Manager, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients. You will be responsible for facilitating agile methodologies, coaching team members, optimizing workflows, managing dependencies, and tracking progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
Does this sound like you?
- Experienced Scrum-master working with technical and web development teams – experienced in progressing tickets, unblocking issues and delivering in a high paced environment
- Able to act up as project manager, owning the delivery timetable, the business roadmap reporting, and working closely with product owners to establish priorities and deliver against them
- Able to act as an Agile coach and evangelist for those less experienced in delivering within an Agile framework
- Can clearly report to senior management on the progress and consequences of roadblocks in delivering within the timeframe
- Comfortable in managing projects where all parameters are not fully defined upfront and can adapt scope and priorities to ensure prompt delivery of projects
- Superior critical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
- Showing a comfort with quickly changing priorities, plus a highly developed adaptability and flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for collaborating with teams and talking with management and other non-team individuals.
- Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
- The ideal APM has official certification and training in project management.
Here’s what you’d be doing:
- Defining the project’s schedule and scope while balancing timely and regular value deliveries and organising and leading working and project status meetings.
- Monitoring project progress, removing obstacles and providing reports to the senior management team members and stakeholders against time and budget.
- Managing several concurrent high visibility projects. You must be accustomed to using Agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may spread across many business divisions.
- Promote the use of vertical slicing within the organization and work with team members to break down features into smaller, end-to-end pieces of functionality that can be delivered more quickly and with less risk.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint or weekly planning, daily stand-ups, sprint or weekly demos, and retrospectives
- Use Kanban principles to visualize and optimize workflows, Coordinate the work of multiple teams and manage dependencies to ensure that projects are delivered on time
- Track progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Identify and manage risks to ensure that projects stay on track and within budget
- Help the organization to adopt and improve their use of agile methodologies
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of agile principles and experience with multiple agile methodologies
- Experience with Kanban, Scrum, XP and workflow optimization
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage dependencies
- Project management experience, including the ability to set goals, define tasks, and establish deadlines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bonus: PMI, CSM or equivalent qualifications

Schedule and Salary
This role is full-time but flexible. Everyone in the business works to their schedule, incorporating a few non-negotiable office and team-based appointments. Flexibility is a top-down culture. The salary and package are competitive. At present, we work in a hybrid fashion with two mandatory days in the office per month and the remainder WFH.

Salary: £55,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
