The Agile Product Delivery Lead will be responsible for the delivery of the Capricorn Program which is in partnership with Microsoft. This will require a strong leader that has knowledge and experience in Agile delivery as well as Scrum and SAFe. The role is expected to be the ‘Agile Conscience’ of the team, being an exceptional servant leader assisting our teams in value delivery, coaching peers on our established processes and agile best practices.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and run all Program Ceremonies (i.e., Quarterly Planning, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives, Product Backlog grooming) in an efficient and effective manner
  • Liaise with Team Leads/Scrum Masters do conduct sprint reviews and ensure daily stand ups are in place
  • Liaise with Product Management to ensure ‘Readiness’ ahead of key planning sessions and events
  • Ensure that the vision for the Program Increment is clear and well communicated
  • Work with relevant parties to ensure that the quarter plan is clear and help align on goals and milestones to enable successful delivery
  • Resolve and track program level systemic impediments
  • Facilitate discussion and decision making, taking all team members into consideration whilst ensuring conflict resolution
  • Raise risks and suggest mitigation plans if delivery is going to be compromised, in a timely manner. Facilitate effective system and solution demos
  • Ensure Scrum of Scrum Meetings and Product Owner syncs are in place and effective
  • Monitor capacity and skills providing input to address critical bottlenecks across team
  • Track and report progress to key stakeholders regularly
  • Act as the ‘Agile Conscience’ for the team. Teaching, coaching and upholding the agile principles
  • Identify new areas for improvement, carry out targeted coaching and successfully influence change across the team
  • Work to ensure that the team is motivated and collectively working to achieve the goals of the organization
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Commercial experience working in an Agile environment as an Agile Scrum Master or SAFe Release Train Engineer working with a team or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum, SAFe and Agile values and best practice techniques, in a multi-team environment
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Scaled Agile and/or SAFe certifications, such as the Advanced ScrumMaster (ASM), Scaled Agilist (SA) and SAFe Programme Consultant certifications.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams and/or projects and products
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret data
  • Ability to coach and influence
  • Comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
