Our renowned client is currently looking to recruit a Agile Delivery Manager on an initial 6 month contract, working on a hybrid basis.

Delivery Manager
£700 per day inside IR35
Exeter – Hybrid

The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Agile Delivery Manager and Scrum Master across software products and services, and ideally have exposure to the public sector. Within the role you will build and maintain teams, act as the Scrum Master, encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team and coach and mentor teams to apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools an techniques.

Working on a hybrid basis for a Government based organisation you will be accountable for the performance of the delivery team to ensure the delivery of products and services. This will include:

• Lead on agile and lean practices
• Use a variety of agile and lean tools and techniques in order to help the team keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the product vision
• Build and maintain motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards
• Protect the team and make sure the team collaborates, communicates and focuses on what is most important
• Coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques for their environment
• Proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints
• Manage risks, budgets and people
• Challenge and improve organisational processes

The ideal candidate will be a certified Scrum Master and certified Agile Practitioner.

The successful candidate will need SC Clearance, however if not held will be put through the Security Clearance process.
