The team
The position reports directly to the Group Head of Agile Delivery with the Transformation Operations Directors Office.
The role
We recognise that organisational agility is key in providing true value to our customers and business. Operating at an enterprise level, this role has been created to work with leadership and the wider ITV community to champion change at scale, introduce and mature good agile practices, and establish strong feedback loops at all levels.
- Work with teams, business stakeholders and executive sponsors to provide tailored training.
- Partner with the Group Head of Agile Delivery to plan, prioritise and execute on scaled practices.
- Co-chair ITV’s agile centre of excellence (CoE), bringing together representatives from across the organisation to act as a guiding coalition for experiments and change initiatives at scale.
- Build and maintain the agile community portal, collating training information, ITV’s framework guidance and other practical resources.
- Establish and grow communities of practice to support continuous improvement and innovation.
- Leverage self-assessments, coaching observations, reporting and other mechanisms to understand agile maturity.
- Demystify agile and drive actionable improvement through simple language, proactive identification of anti-patterns and other organisational impediments.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- A minimum of 7 years experience across Agile Coach, Scrum Master and/or Agile Delivery Manager positions.
- Understanding of different scaling frameworks and applications in a large-scale organisation.
- Experience in building successful, resilient communities of practice.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- True passion for your craft, constantly broadening your horizons and motivating others with little direction.
- Ability to meet coachees a “half-step ahead” and move between teaching, coaching, and advisory stances as appropriate.
- Capability of clearly and concisely articulating the business value of organisational agility and supporting practices according to audience.
