Job Introduction

BBC Product Group brings together all of our digital products into one group, focused on making the BBCs suite of products exceptional, user focused and a central part of everyones everyday lives. To deliver exceptional products that meet the growing expectations of our audiences we first need to work in the right way.

Main Responsibilities

In Product Delivery we create environments where healthy, high performing teams thrive.

  • We inspire each other and the teams we work with to raise the standard of agile collaborative delivery at the BBC.
  • We help make our multi-functional teams more effective and maximise their impact, so we deliver value for users often, iteratively and repeatedly.
  • We focus on outcomes and making it happen.

We are now recruiting Agile Coaches to grow our agile and delivery capability. This is a new role within our newly created Agile Skills Coaching team. We are looking for experienced agile coaches to join us in shaping what our future delivery culture, coaching and training looks like.

Are you the right candidate?
  • Work right across the product portfolio, creating an inclusive learning culture, and coaching teams and individuals in agile/lean practices.
  • Lead programmes of digital skills initiatives; coaching, training and mentoring to grow in-house delivery and agile capability across teams, and leadership inside and outside of product group.
  • Take a hands on, collaborative approach in developing new coaching services and support within Product Group.
  • Be part of a team delivering the strategy to continuously improve the standard of agile collaborative delivery.

We work for the whole population at the BBC and being an inclusive, diverse organisation with an open, positive work culture is critical to our ability to build successful products. We’re looking for people who create inclusive environments, with a passion for agile delivery and the behaviours to lead, guide and inspire our teams.

Do you want to do work that matters in a role that has real impact? Come and join us.

About the BBC

We don’t focus simply on what we do – we also care how we do it. Our values and the way we behave are important to us. Please make sure you’ve read about our values and behaviours in the document attached below.

Diversity matters at the BBC. We have a working environment where we value and respect every individual's unique contribution, enabling all of our employees to thrive and achieve their full potential.

We want to attract the broadest range of talented people to be part of the BBC – whether that’s to contribute to our programming or our wide range of non-production roles. The more diverse our workforce, the better able we are to respond to and reflect our audiences in all their diversity.

We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief. We will consider flexible working requests for all roles, unless operational requirements prevent otherwise.
