What you will be doing

Join the team of Procurement Operations in the UK Landing Gear commodity at Filton as a Supply Chain & Quality Graduate where you will have the rewarding opportunity to collaborate, innovate and build skills and experiences in one of the worlds most complex and established international supply chains.

From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and even with customers and suppliers. This, along with training provided works to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to take the next step of your career following the programme's conclusion.

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Supply Chain Quality Manager and can expect to be involved in the following:

Supply Management: Procurement Operations are actively involved in the management of material flows to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost to satisfy customers. Projects in this area for example could be to challenge delivery & logistic flows, foster transformational change in the area of supply chain sustainability or build new routines to ensure parts are delivered proactively on time & to target.

Control Supplier: We are responsible to ensure that our flyable products continuously meet Airbus’s Requirements. At your disposal, you will have the opportunity to utilise the vast amount of tools & technologies Airbus has to offer to ensure that our suppliers remain in adherence to our requirements and that of the authorities. You will interact with leading experts in this crucial field to make a real impact from day 1.

Supplier Development: We constantly adjust and adapt to world events, anticipate complex issues, mitigate risks and develop supplier’s capabilities to encourage continuous improvement. As a graduate, you will also have the opportunity to travel & influence our suppliers to continuously improve with the potential for on-site activity with specific placements across the globe (if feasible)

At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as Supply Chain Quality Manager

What you will need to apply

Degree type: Studying for or achieved a degree in the field of Procurement or in a relevant or suitable field e.g. Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering

  • You have been studying for or achieved a degree in a relevant or suitable field

  • Gained initial early career professional experience in the field of Procurement or in a relevant or suitable field

  • Have a strong desire to seek a career in the area of Procurement Operations and contribute to Airbus as a collective


Salary: £31,000
