Vacancies available: Lead Instructor and Teaching Assistant for a school in Banstead.
(No teaching qualification required - would suit undergrad or grad, Y13 student, or someone who enjoys working with children)
Times available: After-school clubs (3:30pm - 4:30pm), choose to work how many clubs you’d like to work each week
Rates: £25 per session (Lead Instructor) and £20 per session (TA)

Code Camp is Australia's leading childcare provider and we are growing fast in the UK! We have partnered with over 150 UK primary schools since 2018 and taught over 120,000 kids to code globally since 2013. We are looking to make a hugely positive impact on STEM Education. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our holiday camps and after-school clubs.

The Roles:
Lead Instructor
- Deliver our lesson plan to a class of <20 students
- Responsible for keeping the class on track
- Provide direction to assistants
Teaching Assistant
- Provides one on one help to individual students during class
- Any student falling behind will need you to guide them in the right direction
- Keep an eye out for any mis-behaviour or disruption
Required Skills:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree, candidates should have some of the following experience (or similar):
- Computer Science/maths A level student / IT or Engineering undergrad / trainee teacher
- Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude
- Ideally currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent conversational English
- Confident with computers and tech
The coding that is taught at Code Camp is relatively basic (for most kids this will be their first time learning to code, so an in depth knowledge is not necessary). We will ask all successful applicants to take an hour or two to familiarise themselves with the coding that will be taught at camp.
