Please note: this is not a remote position. We are looking for staff to work at primary schools in Birmingham.
Vacancies available: Class leaders and assistants for after-school technology clubs in local primary schools
(No teaching qualification required - would suit university student, Y12 & Y13 students, or someone who enjoys working with children)
Times available: After-school clubs (3:30pm - 4:30pm), choose to work how many clubs you’d like to work each week
Rates: £25 per session (Class Leader) and £20 per session (Club assistant)

Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our new infant (KS1) Little Coders clubs.
This role would suit an energetic, patient, friendly, warm, passionate personality. Please apply if you want to inspire the next generation of young children.
The Roles:
Class Leader:
- Deliver our lesson plan in an energetic and engaging way to a class of around 16-20 students
- Responsible for keeping the class on track
- Provide direction to assistants
- Responsible for registration and end of club procedures
Club Assistant
- Provide one on one help to individual students during the club
- Help with students falling behind
- Deal with behaviour in a friendly way
- Make sure that all children leave loving the session
Required Skills:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree, candidates should have some of the following experience (or similar):
- Experience of working with children (ideally, groups of children)
- Experience of leading or supporting group sessions
- A vibrant and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Professional
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent in conversational English
- Confident with using basic technology (e.g. tablets, Chromebooks etc)
Full training is provided, we can apply for DBS certificates if required.
Job Types: Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Part-time
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 1-5 per week
Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
