About the role
As the Affiliates Marketing Manager you will manage the implementation, optimisation, and development of the Affiliates programme as a key member of the Affiliates team. Supported by our agency partner and working cross-functionally with internal teams, you will explore new opportunities in the Partnership marketing space, as well as emerging opportunities across related areas such as PCEs, loyalty, influencers and incentives.
This role is suitable for an individual with strong analytical skills, experience in reviewing data and turning insights into actionable plans, someone that is process - driven, meets deadlines and remains focused on outcomes.
What will you be doing?
As an Affiliates Marketing Manager, you will lead the Affiliates team by defining the marketing strategy for the affiliate channel, and leading the optimisation and development of Affiliate partnerships. You will be responsible for the positive development and management of the relationships we have with our affiliates and agencies to execute our campaigns and deliver commercial targets. You will work closely with the Senior Affiliates Manager to deliver against strategy objectives and revenue targets and will take on task management responsibilities for more junior team members.
You will identify and develop direct key strategic relationships and deepen these for mutual benefit; creating a strong suite of partners available to work with at buying office level. Identifying and capitalising on commercially beneficial opportunities and new revenue streams through the affiliate marketing channel.
You will effectively report on performance and support with the budgets and financial processes for the channel. Providing regular performance reports to continuously improve performance; using analysis to create actionable insight to drive commercial and budgetary recommendations for the area.
Understand acquisition and retention strengths of different activities and adapt campaigns according to business objectives and category requirements and be able to report in this context and communicate effectively.
Essential skills you’ll need
Ability to prioritise tasks and remain agile in your approach
Digital experience: experienced in affiliate marketing, wider digital awareness
Ability to think critically: Analysing and interpreting complex data; analysing campaigns and their performance. Using data to evidence and justify, and make informed decisions and recommendations.
What else could you bring?
Knowledge of digital marketing; trends and developments.
Demonstrable understanding of how digital marketing channels work together to influence customer behaviour.
Online experience within retail.
Experience working with the Impact platform
